Our Story: Retirees inspired to enjoy more travel

Our travel motto is “We can’t see it all, but whatever we see is a bonus”.

We are an Aussie couple who have always enjoyed travel.  We just love visiting new places, learning about different cultures, tasting different food, meeting new people, and being open to new experiences.

In the past we have travelled around many parts of Australia.  But, in reality, we have hardly scratched the surface of what we hope to see.

We have also visited to following countries:

New Zealand               Greece

England                        Austria

Scotland                       Germany

Ireland                          Netherlands

France                           Switzerland

Spain                             China

Italy                               Vietnam

Cambodia                     Bali

We are very keen to travel overseas again. We can’t wait to add to the list of the countries we have visited. And some countries we would just love to return to.

By no means do we see ourselves as expert or even really experienced travellers. We see ourselves as average Australians who have done a bit of travelling. And we are keen to do a whole lot more.

Previously work and other commitments placed restrictions on us. With the freedom of retirement we decided to begin travelling full time. We decided we need to travel while we are fit, healthy & able to cope with extended travel.

Our initial plan is to try and see as much of Australia as we can. We have hitched up our caravan for an uncertain period. Our intention is to try a nomadic lifestyle with no permanent base – at least for a while.

We are ready to hit the road & begin our nomadic lifestyle. Please stay tuned for more posts about our travel adventures.

We hope to see you along the way.  Cheers Estelle & Greg
